O, aynı zamanda Mekke-i Mükerreme ve çevresiyle birlikte, hac ibadeti ve menâsikinin mahallidir. Bu itibarla İslâm dini ve tarihî açısından çok büyük ehemmiyeti hâizdir. Nitekim Kur’ân-ı Kerîm’deki pek çok âyet, Hz. Peygamber’in pek çok hadisi ve fıkıh külliyatına dercedilmiş geniş malumat buna işaret etmektedir. Bu arada Kâbe ve Mekke’nin, İslâm tarihçilerinin en câzip konuları arasına girdiği söylenebilir. İslâm’ın ilk dönemlerden itibaren İslam tarihçileri, dinî, siyâsî, ilmî, kültürel ve benzeri yönleriyle Kâbe, Mekke, Harem-i Şerif ve müştemilâtının, önemi, mahiyeti, tarihi ve faziletlerine dair eserler vermişlerdir. Mekke ve Kâbe tarihi hakkında eser telif eden âlimlerden biri de Osmanlı dönemi (11/17. yüzyıl) âlimlerinden Ahmed b. Muhammed el-Esedî el-Mekkî’dir. Bu çalışmada, onun hayatı ve konuya dair “İhbâru’l-Kirâm bi Ahbâri’l-Mescidi’l-Harâm” isimli eserinin muhtevası üzerinde durulmaya çalışılacaktır. Bu çalışmanın devamı niteliğini taşıyacak ikinci makalede İhbâru’l-Kirâm’ın tahkikli metni neşredilerek, nüsha farklılıkları gösterilecektir. YÖKSİS TR Index OpenAlex 16.0%
