How it works
ISSN path: we match the selected year’s Scimago row and JCR metrics. DOI path: the DOI is resolved to ISSN and year from local publication / OpenAlex records, then the same quartile catalog is queried.
If there is no Scimago row for the exact year, the nearest year is shown with a note. JCR / JIF on this site cover 1997+ (coverage depends on the catalog).

What is a quartile?
A ranking band (Q1–Q4) for a journal within its field. Scopus usually uses SJR; Web of Science uses JCR category/quartile.
What do I need to enter?
Either a journal ISSN + publication/evaluation year, or an article DOI. With DOI, ISSN and year are filled from the local record automatically.
What is the data source?
Scopus quartiles from Scimago Journal Rank (SJR) rows; WoS from Clarivate JCR metric and category-quartile tables. DOI resolution uses local publication and OpenAlex satellite tables — no live external API.
