THE PROBLEM OF DEVELOPING CRITICAL THINKING SKILLS IN PRESCHOOLERS

Currently, preschoolers (alpha generation) need to quickly perceive information, get used to the rapid flow of information, process it quickly and simultaneously perform several tasks. In this regard, the process of critical thinking of children is actively discussed. Although the general process of "critical thinking" is studied in pedagogical practice, there are few studies devoted to the problem of critical thinking of preschoolers (5-6 years old). The purpose of our study is to determine the level of formation of critical thinking in preschoolers. Analysis of the theoretical foundations of the formation of critical thinking in children based on research tasks; determination of stages (phases) technology; determination of criteria, indicators and levels of formation of critical thinking in children. In the article, the authors analyze the problem of developing critical thinking in preschoolers in the pedagogical and didactic process, based on the purpose, the task, the concepts of teachers are considered. The research of foreign and Kazakhstani authors on the problem under study is analyzed. The stages of the application of critical thinking technology in the didactic process in preschool organizations, the activities of the educator, the activities and methods of the child's activity are determined. The research paper presents a table in which the results of learning Bloom's taxonomy are aimed at developing understanding, application, analysis, synthesis and evaluation of learning skills that affect the development of critical thinking.The authors presented in the didactic process the components of the technology of critical thinking of preschoolers, indicators, levels of formation of critical thinking of children, diagnostic methods used and gave the results of the ascertaining stage of the experiment.
