MarLEN Projesi, Avrupa'nın denizcilik sektöründe 2025-2029 yılları arasında sıfır emisyon hedefine ulaşmak için Ufuk Avrupa Programı tarafından desteklenen bir girişim olup deniz taşıtlarının emisyonlarını azaltmaya odaklanan araştırma ve… Ufuk Avrupa Programı altında desteklenen, 2025-2029 yılları arasında sürecek, Avrupa denizcilik sektöründe sıfır emisyona ulaşmayı hedefleyen Ar-Ge ve inovasyon projelerinin destekleneceği MarLEN (Maritime Low Emission Network [Denizcilikte Sıfır Emisyon Ağı]) projesi ile deniz yolu taşıtlarının yol açtığı emisyonların azaltılması, deniz yolu araştırma alanları kapsamında boşluk analizinin yapılması, ülkelerin önceliklendirme ve değerlendirme hususlarında birlik sağlanması, Avrupa’nın sıfır emisyon stratejisine katkı sunulması hedeflenmektedir.
