Abstract
In the title compound, [ZnCl2(C8H6N2)2], the ZnII atom is coordinated in a distorted tetrahedral environment by two Cl atoms and two N atoms from the phthalazine ligands. There is an intramolecular C—H⋯N interaction between the phthalazine ligands.
