Abstract
OpenAlex · English
The present study aimed to model and investigate the temperature-dependent magnetization and magnetic susceptibility of CeSb2 single crystals under an external magnetic field using effective field theory. The results indicate that the relationship between resistivity and magnetism manifests as specific anomalies. This analysis demonstrates that these magnetic anomalies originate from weak exchange interactions between Sb-Sb and Sb-Ce atoms in contrast to the strong exchange interactions between Ce-Ce atoms. Given that detailed measurements of local magnetic order present significant experimental challenges, the application of effective field theory provides a robust framework for investigating local or partial magnetism.
