7 -12 7 İçme kullanma sularındaki Cryptosporidium ookist ve Giardia kistlerinin analizinde TS ISO 15553 standart yönteminin uygulanabilirliğinin dış kalite kontrol numunesi ile değerlendirilmesi Evaluation of the applicability of the standard method of TS ISO 15553 in analysis of Cryptosporidium oocysts and Giardia cysts in drinking waters using external quality control samples ABSTRACT Objective: The aim of the present study was to determine the applicability of TS ISO 15553Standard method in water analyses in order to detect Cryptosporidium oocysts and Giardia cysts by using external quality control (EQC) sample.Methods: In the study, one external quality control sample and three positive quality control samples analysed at different intervals, were tested by using TS ISO 15553 standard method.Besides, negative quality control samples were also includued in each study design.Results: When the results obtained with external quality control and positive quality control samples were evaluated together, it was determined that the presence of Cryptosporidium oocysts and Giardia cysts could be detected in water-intended for human consumption by using TS ISO 15553 Standard method.Conclusion: According to the results obtained by using external quality control sample, it was confirmed that TS ISO 15553 Standard method can be used in the laboratory for analyzing water samples.
