The problem, which is discussed by classical or contemporary ethical theories, especially applied ethics and medical ethics, also causes many philosophical issues and debates.This study aims to evaluate the issue of euthanasia, which is the main problem of applied ethics, from the perspective of Aristotelian ethics, and to analyze euthanasia through the basic principles and concepts of virtue ethics. Therefore, first of all, the nature of euthanasia through its types and why it is a current problem will be discussed. Secondly, the basic principles of virtue ethics will be discussed through eudaimonia and arete, which are the basic concepts of Aristotelian Ethics . This evaluation will be made through the concepts of preference and request. In short, the main purpose of the study is to evaluate the euthanasia problem through the basic principles of Aristotelian virtue ethics, happiness, action and preference, to create an important alternative to this basic applied ethics issue. The definition of human as a rational being by Aristotle, his sanity and the privilege of making decisions by choosing his own actions will be considered as the basis for euthanasia. For this reason, it will be concluded that voluntary euthanasia will be considered moral through virtue ethics.
