Abstract
Vestibular Schwannoma is a benign and usually slow-growing tumor originating from the vestibulo-cochlear nerve myelin sheath. Most of the patients complain of unilateral hearing loss, tinnitus and vertigo in the early period. Symptoms may vary by the size and localization of the tumor. Imaging methods and audiological assessments play an important role in diagnosis. Observation, surgical treatment and stereotactic radiotherapy can be involved in treatment processes, depending on factors such as symptoms, preferences, tumor growth rate and localization. In this study, the diagnostic processes, audiological assessment and Magnetic Resonance Imaging results of one patient diagnosed with Vestibular Schwannoma were discussed in the light of published studies.
