Abstract

OpenAlex · Turkish

In the present age, the technology is developing rapidly and theneed for information increases at an elevated speed as well. However, there are certain problems in obtaining and using the accurateinformation. The doubtful validity of the information distributed by theInternet makes it necessary to seek the truth and find out the facts. Thephilosophy of informatics fulfills an essential task at this point, andindividual reasoning begins to take place. Fuzzy logic proposessolutions to such problems by addressing uncertainty. This line of focusis where the fields of philosophy of informatics and fuzzy logic intersect.Fuzzy logic systems, which can produce effective solutions to existingproblems, have become more functional with the introduction ofartificial intelligence. The fuzzy logic introduced by Lotfi Zadeh can bemodeled qualitatively with the help of the human brain, placing thehuman brain in the center. Fuzzy logic, which is essentially extended byZadeh’s students following his first studies revealing the relationbetween fuzzy sets and fuzzy logic, has a broad range of applicationareas today from medicine to engineering and from space and aviationand control systems to earth sciences. The data that is handled anddigitized in a relative-nature can be modelled using fuzzy logic. Theproblems experienced in learning may arise not only from the learnerbut also from the inefficient teaching methods applied. In this study, learning activities realized under artificial intelligence-supported fuzzylogic systems are discussed within the framework of philosophy of informatics. A theoretical analysis of the subject is presented, andreasonable conclusions are given.
