Today, schools aim to develop each individuals’ higher-level life skills such as problem solving, reasoning and multidimensional thinking. Intelligence games has a significiant potential to serve. Hovewer literature review gives little insight into study of area The purpose of this study is to gain perspective of social studies teacher candidates about the use of intelligence games in teaching enviroment. The participants of the study are composed of 16 social studies prospective teachers who are enrolled at a Teacher Education Program. Qualitative method is used in study in data gathering and analysing process. After identifying the games of intelligence, the participants of the work will be determined on the basis of volunteerally. Specialist trainers will be running their mentors with a total of 8 hours of different mental games for 4 weeks and 2 each week with designated participants. In this process, it is aimed primarily for teacher candidates to recognize these games. At the end of the application, the opinions of the teacher candidates regarding the use of intelligence games in teaching social studies has been tried to be revealed by focus group interview. The focus group interviews will be conducted in three groups, with a maximum of seven participants. Findings show that prospective teachers view intelligence games as positive and a powerful tool for improving teaching enviroment.
