ABSTRACTObjectiveThe aim of this study was to determine the characteristics of complementary and alternative medicine (CAM) use in individuals with epilepsy and assess its relationshipwith disease awareness.Material and MethodsThe study was conducted between October 2024 and January 2025 with 325 people with epilepsy (PWE) in a province in Eastern Turkey. A personal information form containing 16 questions about CAM usage characteristics and an epilepsy knowledgescale were used to collect data.
