Abstract
Turkish
In its simplest form, the government, defined as "the administrative institutions of a country", constitutes already existing statism. The government, of which duties and authorities as well as limitations are determined in the Constitution, consists of the council of ministers, and it is responsible for the manipulation of the State politics. In total, sixty-five governments (excluding for the coalition governments) has served from I. Inonu Government, between 30 December 1923 and 19 March 1924, till the still continuing Yıldırım Government established on 24 May 2016. A new government program has been declared with the establishment of almost every government. It is seen that there is no constitutional binding of government programs; but it is presented to the public as a means of transparency and accountability. It has been determined that many different topics from trade to economy, from culture to national defense has been dealt with in the governments established from 1923 till today. One of these topics is Turkish which is the official language of Turkish Republic and guaranteed by the constitution. In this study, it was aimed to determine how the Turkish language was addressed through the government programs of a total of sixty-five governments established in the period from the Republican period to the present day.
