Mektep Dergisi ve Hakkında Yapılan Çalışmalara Dair Bazı Dikkatler

OZET 19. Yuzyilin sonlannda yayimlanan Mektep dergisi, Turk Basin Tarihinde onemli bir yere sahiptir. Gerek ilk yillarinda gosterdigi pedagojik ozellikleriyle, gerekse sonradan kazandigi edebi ozelligiyle ilgi cekici bir dergi haline gelmistir. Turk universitelerinde i 994- i 999 yillan arasinda, bu dergiyle ilgili uc yuksek lisans tezi hazirlanmistir. Bu calismalardan ilki tarafimizdan, ikincisi Kemal Timur, ucuncusu ise, Reyhan Elmas Keles tarafindan gerceklestirilmistir. Etkin bir iletisim ortaminin bulundugu gunumuzde, arzu edilmeyen bir durum olarak. sonraki tezleri hazirlayanlar arasinda bir irtibatsizlik meydana gelmistir. Bunun sonucunda, bazi gereksiz tekrarlar, eksiklikler ve yanlisliklar ortaya cikmistir. Bu makalede once Mektep dergisinin uzun ve macerali yayin hayati incelenmis, daha sonra onun hakkinda hazirlanmis olan tezler tanitilarak, bunlann elestirisi yapilmistir. ABSTRACT The periodical Me/ctep, which was published at the end of 19th century, has an important place in the History of Turkish Press. lt became an interesting review both with its pedagogical features its early years and then its literary feature which it obtained afterwards. it was prepared three postgraduate thesis as related to this review between the years of 1994-1999 at the Turkish Universities. The first one was carried out by me, the second by Kemal Timur and the third by Reyhan Elmas Keleo. A disconnection exists among the persons who prepared the lalter thesises as an undesirable position, at the present while there are active communication means. As a result, some unnecessary repetitions, defects and mistakes occurs. In this article, at first, the Jong and adventurous publication life of the periodical Mektep was examined and then the thesises about the periodical are introduced and critisized.
