Aim: This study examined the effects of the psychological distress experienced by parents during the COVID-19 pandemic on their attitudes towards their children. Material and Method: This descriptive study included a total of 301 parents. All parents completed the Descriptive Characteristics Form, COVID-19 Psychological Distress Scale and Parents' Attitudes towards Protecting Their Children during the COVID-19 Pandemic Scale. Results: The mean score of the Parents’ Distress Scale was 20.48 ± 4.21, and the Attitude Scale's mean score was 99.59 ± 12.53.
