Objectives: Ligation during ovariohysterectomy (OHE) or surgical operations of the ovary affect the integrity and structure of the tissue. Evaluation of the ovarian follicle appearance and structures become important, especially if the removed ovaries are to be frozen and thawed and retransplanted in patients receiving chemotherapy/radiotherapy. Accurate analysis requires fixation of the tissue with the convenient solution. In our Ama: Ovaryohisterektomi (OHE) ya da ovaryumun cerrahi operasyonlarnda yaplan ligasyon doku btnl ve yapsn etkilemektedir. zellikle karlan ovaryumlar kemoterapi/radyoterapi alan hastalarda dondurulup zlerek tekrar nakil edilecek ise ligasyonun ovaryum zerindeki etkisinin histopatolojik analizi ve folikl grnm ve yaplarnn deerlendirilmesi nemli hale gelmektedir. Analizlerin doru bir ekilde yaplabilmesi de dokunun doru solsyonla fikse edilmi olmasn gerektirir. Biz de bu nedenle almamzda kedi ovaryumlarnda OHE srasnda uygulanan ligasyon sonras dokunun uzaklatrlmas arasnda geen sre ile %10 tamponlu formalin ve Bouin fiksatiflerinin doku korunumu ve folikller zerine etkilerinin ortaya konulmas ve elde edilen bulgular dorultusunda uygun fiksatifin belirlenmesini
