The Bibionidae (Diptera) of Türkiye: An Updated Checklist with New Records

An updated list of Bibionidae known as March flies examined until now from Türkiye is presented, with 6 species. The data provided here are based on specimens deposited in the Zoological Museum of Gazi University (ZMGU, Ankara) entomological collection, recently collected material, and published literature records. Two species are recorded for the first time from Anatolia, Bibio leucopterus (Meigen, 1804) and Bibio pomonae (Fabricius, 1775). Distribution maps and an updated checklist of the Turkish bibionids are given.
