Yaratıcı Düşünmeyi Öğrenme Motivasyonu Ölçeği: Türkçe geçerlik ve güvenirlik çalışması

The aim of the research is to adapt the “Motivation to Learn Creative Thinking Scale” by Al-Zu’bi, Omar-Fauzee and Kaur (2017) to Turkish. For this aim, the survey model, one of the quantitative research methods was used in the study. In this context, 41 teachers and 189 children, who work in independent kindergartens and kindergartens within primary schools in Istanbul in spring semester of the 2020-2021 academic year and determined according to the convenience sampling method in order to obtain the data faster and easier, constitute the study group of the research. The Motivation to Learn Creative Thinking Scale was used to collect data in the study. Language validity, construct validity and reliability analysis were performed in the scale adaptation study. In order to determine the construct validity of the scale, firstly, Exploratory Factor Analysis was performed. KMO,933 and Bartlett's Sphericity test p=.000 ≤0.05 were found to be suitable for sample size and factor analysis of the study. As a result of the exploratory factor analysis, a five-factor structure of the items was obtained. The Cronbach Alpha reliability coefficient was found to be 0.94 for the entire scale. It was decided that the Motivation to Learn Creative Thinking Scale is a valid and reliable measurement tool.
