The primary aim of the occupational health and safety is to protect employees from the hazards and risks of the form of accidents and illnesses, and to minimize harmful effects. It is also aimed to increase the quality of life by targeting the state of full well-being from the physical, social and psychological aspects and to ensure that the health of employees is positively affected.As in the whole world, work accidents and occupational diseases that are happening in our country also result in death and some injuries.Employers for business; the employees are directly affected by the negative impacts and the Government has to deal with the issues of occupational health and safety as they have to think about the health and happiness of their citizens.Therefore, occupational health and safety issue are more important to the establishing a safety culture in the workplace for workplace accidents and occupational diseases prevention.Woman who is participate in working life with the industrial revolution, now they are working hard like men and they are affected by the risk factors at work.In this study, it was aimed to reveal the risk awareness of woman whose working in metal industry in Bursa and to emphasize the importance of safety culture.The sample of the study consisted of total 1918 female employees in the metal industry in Bursa city. The mean age of the participants was 31, 49±6, 85 and the mean working years in the workplace was 6, 36±5, 85. In this study, factor analysis, reliability analysis, correlation and regression analysis were used. According to the findings obtained, between safety behavior and risk perceptions, statistically significant relationship was determined for safety culture among female employees.
