Proverbs reflect the feelings, thoughts, life viewsand value judgments of the nations; It gives the essence thatis in the yeast of society. Therefore, the ways to understandand make sense of ourselves are through these words.Proverbs are like a mirror reflecting people’s experiencesand memories. Proverbs are considered to be the mostspecial and rare products of oral literature. Proverbs areshort and original narratives that are the product ofpeople's imagination. Turkish communities that aredevoted to their culture, living on their traditions andcustoms and wanting to continue their existence foreverhave created many proverbs that reflect their socialcharacteristics and named them with little differences fromeach other.Proverbs used in Turkey Turkish, have beenexamined in many studies to date and evaluated fromdifferent perspectives. Not only in Turkey Turkish but alsoin all Turkish dialects, there are many proverbs that havereached today. Proverbs for Uyghur Turks, who have ahistory of thousands of years, have an important place inboth realizing cultural transfer and sharing knowledge andexperience. In this context, the child also found a place inUyghur proverbs.In this article, the subject of children in Uyghurproverbs is discussed and classified according to a certainframework and divided into ten main titles. Later, they werealso classified according to sub-themes. Same time, thesame ones with Turkey Turkish tried to be determined.Many words about the child are used in Uyghur proverbs.These words show not only how important the child is to thefamily, but also how much a place the child has in Uyghursociety, and reflect their worldview of the child.
