Background: This study aimed to determine the yield traits of geese reared under enterprise conditions. Methods: The study examined egg production and hatching traits of young and adult breeder geese across two laying seasons. A total of 425 geese in the first year and 445 geese in the second year were used as breeders. Result: Conducted on a private goose farm, the study found that the laying season for the young flock was 122 days, with an average egg production of 13.49 eggs per goose, an average egg weight of 152.50 g. For the adult flock, the laying season was 90 days, with an average egg production of 25.52 eggs per goose, an average egg weight of 159.40 g. The effects of breeding age and egg weight on hatching traits were also investigated. The breeder age significantly affected fertility rate, hatchability of total eggs and early embryonic death efficiency (P less than 0.001). The egg weight groups effect on hatchability was also statistically significant (P less than 0.001).
