Özet
The renin–angiotensin system (RAS) is an important mediator of tumour progression and metastasis. Type 1 and type 2 angiotensin receptors are important regulators of cellular proliferation, angiogenesis and inflammation.1,2 A recent meta-analysis of randomised controlled trials reported an increased risk of cancer with angiotensin receptor blockers (ARBs).3 However, there are limited data about the association of breast cancer with ARBs. Thus, we aimed to investigate the effect of ARB usage on clinico-pathological properties of breast cancer.
