Transversal azimutal projeksiyonlarda Aitoff ve Wagner dönüşümleri

An interesting method has been applied by David Alexandrovich Aitoff modifying the equidistant transversal azimuthal projection so that it can be used for planisphere representations. Such transformations were generalized by Karheinz Wagner long after Aitoff. In this study, the transformation method is discussed, and it is applied to streographic projection. This modification has been examined in terms of distortions and compared with Aitoff and Hammer projections. The results show that this new option can be used in planisphere representations.
