Özet
High pulse repetition frequency (PRF) radar operation enables Doppler-unambiguous sensing but introduces range ambiguity. This letter introduces a receiver-side sampling diversity framework that exploits the aliasing robustness of hyperbolic frequency-modulated (HFM) pulses. By varying the effective sampling rate across pulse repetition intervals (PRIs), ambiguous echoes are identified via matched-filter gain degradation and sidelobe metrics, then resolved through a sampling-match vote and range unwrapping. Doppler estimation is preserved by evaluating the slow-time phase at the disambiguated delay. Simulations demonstrate that the proposed scheme achieves comparable range/velocity accuracy to transmit-diversity alternatives while reducing computational complexity. This balance of performance, reduced complexity, and real-time capability makes it particularly suitable for roadside vehicular sensing.
