In this study, we have examined the Social Policy Association which aims to bring solution to the problems caused by the depleted working class. This association was founded in 1872 by the second generation German Historian School representatives called the Socialists of the Chair. The Socialists of the Chair kept distance with free trade and abstract laws of English Economists. In addition to that, in 1870s, this association has influenced the Bismarck period. The objective of this association was to find a solution to the social problems. The president of this association was Schmoller. The purpose of this article is to evaluate the foundation and the goal of the Social Policy Board on the axis of Schmoller, Brentano and Wagner.
