In this study, it was tried to make a situation assessment by analyzing the articlespublished in the Journal of Educational Administration – Theory and Practice, one ofthe main publication organs in Turkey within the field of educational administration,between 2003 to 2013 in respect to thematic, methodological and statistical analysistechniques. This study was designed as a methodological evaluation study and conductedon 266 articles published in the Journal of Educational Administration: Theory andPractice between 2003 to 2013. Data collected through document analysis, analyzed byusing frequencies and categorical analysis. Findings indicated that themes which werestudied in the articles published in the journal of Educational Administration-Theoryand Practice focused on a narrow area, survey model was mostly used as a researchmodel, t-test and one way ANOVA were mainly used as statistical data analysisprocesses.
