The following four flat mite species (Acari: Tenuipalpidae) are reported for the first time in the tenuipalpid fauna of Turkey: Cenopalpus irani Dosse (1971), Cenopalpus quadricornis Livshitz & Mitrofanov (1967), Cenopalpus pennatisetis (Wainstein), and Brevipalpus recki (Livshitz & Mitrofanov)Cenopalpus lanceolatisetae (Attiah) is also collected during this study. A key to the species of Cenopalpus Pritchard & Baker and Brevipalpus Donnadieu (Acari: Tenuipalpidae) known to occur in Turkey is provided
