The aim of this study is to determine the itinerary of Sintenis in 1888, to identify the current names of the settlements on this route, and to compile a list of the plant collections. For this purpose, the records in the 42 herbaria housing the plant collections were examined, and a detailed analysis of more than two thousand sheets was conducted. Errors on the sheet labels were identified, samples with missing numbers or collection dates were interpreted, and suggestions were made.
