In this paper, a 6D chaotic system which is derived from the Marangoni chaotic system has been introduced and its engineering applications have been realized. The finite element analysis method is a popular computational tool for analyzing mathematical models. In this paper, the simulation results of the system are confirmed through COMSOL simulation outputs in first. Then, the chaotic system is scaled and implemented on an electronic circuit for real-time application. This is followed by tracking control and synchronization of the 6D chaotic system using a single control function in each case via backstepping technique verified through numerical simulation. Application of the synchronization of the 6D systems to secure communication is computationally validated. The single control function designed reduces controller complexity and cost of practical implementation.
