This study provides a comprehensive overview of the impact of artificial intelligence (AI) and the digital revolution on the healthcare sector. AI-enabled systems have transformed many areas from patient diagnosis to treatment processes, from healthcare management to cost minimisation. Method: The main objective of the study is to analyse the strengths and weaknesses, opportunities and threats of artificial intelligence in healthcare. With the increasing use of artificial intelligence in the health sector, changes in areas such as diagnostic accuracy, treatment processes, patient safety and cost effectiveness are evaluated. Scope: The effects of artificial intelligence on the health sector between 2015-2025 have been examined and the transformation it provides in terms of economic, technological and health services has been analysed. In particular, issues such as patient diagnosis, treatment processes, digital transformation in health, economic analyses, ethical and legal dimensions are discussed. Methodology: The research was conducted with qualitative and quantitative analysis methods. Using SWOT analysis, the strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats of artificial intelligence were evaluated, and its effects on the health sector were measured with economic and statistical models. Results: It was found that the strengths of artificial intelligence in the health sector have increased significantly over the years (from 50% to 90%), while the weaknesses have decreased (from 70% to 40%). With AI-supported diagnostic systems, errors have decreased, accuracy rates have increased, costs have decreased and access to healthcare services has become easier. Conclusion: Artificial intelligence has revolutionised the healthcare industry, accelerated diagnostic processes and improved patient care. However, issues such as data security, ethical regulations, and integration of AI into healthcare decisions are still an important topic of debate. Regulations to ensure the safe and ethical use of artificial intelligence stand out as a critical need.
