Food safety is a critical issue in terms of protecting the health of consumers and preventing foodborne diseases. Chemicals used in food production and processing can positively or negatively affect food safety. In this article, the role of chemicals in food safety, their uses, possible health risks and food safety regulations will be examined in detail.
