What's known on the subject? and What does the study add?Retrograde intrarenal surgery (RIRS) is a reliable surgical method for the treatment of urinary system stone disease.This study evaluated the effectiveness and safety of RIRS considering more than 1000 cases based on multi-center experience.The size of the stone, stone location and surgical experience could affect the success rate.Although most consequences are mild and rare, there could nevertheless be serious, life-threatening complications.
