Changes in sexual health, which is an integral part of health, negatively affect women's quality of life. Physical, hormonal, psychological and social changes that occur in women's natural life processes such as pregnancy, childbirth, postpartum and menopause can negatively affect sexual health and sexual dysfunctions can be seen. The fact that sexual dysfunctions are caused by various reasons also requires that the methods to be used in their treatment should be versatile. Yoga is a holistic practice used to achieve and maintain unity and balance between mind-body-spirit. Yoga Asana practices increase the flexibility and strength of the muscles by increasing blood flow to the muscles and providing mobility. Pranayama and meditation exercises increase concentration and awareness, reduce anxiety and stress. Yoga practices can also prevent and improve the problems that arise due to weakness of the pelvic floor muscles. The combination of these physical and mental improvements positively affects the sexual life of individuals. Yoga also offers a supportive alternative method to help women cope with sexual problems that may arise during their life stages. Asana, pranayama and meditation contribute to reducing sexual problems during these periods by promoting physical and mental health. In this context, utilizing yoga practices in solving sexual health problems is thought to be a useful strategy. In this review article, it is aimed to contribute to the literature by examining the effects of yoga on sexuality and evaluating the existing studies.
