This study ini ally discusses the researches conducted on wind energy in Europe.The general principles of European Union energy policies were men oned, and then renewable energy policies were focused on.From 1970 to the present, many important steps have been taken that have led to the current posi on of Europe's wind energy.These cri cal eff orts are addressed comprehensively.Germany, which has made signifi cant contribu ons to the development of wind energy in Europe and plays a leading role in this fi eld, has been selected as the country to be examined in this ar cle.Germany stands out with its off shore wind energy technology due to its loca on in the North Sea.Detailed informa on was given about Germany's projects in recent years and planned for the future.This paper is a general analysis of the wind energy policies of the European Union, but also of Germany, which follows these policies.
