Özet

İngilizce (OpenAlex)

The present study aimed to investigate the microbial diversity of three fish species (Chondrostoma regium, Capoeta trutta and Cyprinion macrostomum) from the Bingöl region of the Murat River. Gill and intestinal samples were obtained from a total of 52 fish. Conventional microbial analysis methods were employed. Bacterial identification was conducted through the utilisation of biochemical tests. A total of 285 bacteria (117 from gills and 168 from intestines) belonging to 10 genera were isolated and identified. The most prevalent species identified in the gills and intestines of fish were Escherichia coli (24.58%), Enterobacter aerogenes (26.30%), Staphylococcus sp. (14.22%) and Aeromonas sp. (12.28%). It is imperative to implement a programme of continuous monitoring of the bacterial parameters of the existing water system, in order to ensure the continued safety of fish and the public.
