Urban field study was carried out as a part of the PhD thesis of the author, in which 45 face-to-face semi-structured indepth interviews with key governmental and non-governmental actors were conducted, including local and central government politicians and civil servants, investors, heads of local business associations and professional chambers, academicians, lawyers, representatives of non-governmental organizations and local residents.
