Communication and communication with sign language has been one of the methods that human beings have used since their existence in the world. So much so that the similarity in the cave paintings found in different geographies even after ages has actually revealed the similarity in the language of communication of people. Symbols and signs, which are still used for communication or communication today, have entered our lives as pictograms with the modernization process. Pictograms are included in our lives not only as communication but also as elements of warning of dangers. In this context, pictogram design has started to be reflected in graphic design studies. Well-designed pictograms are simple, clear and clear graphic symbols that can easily convey desired or targeted information to all people, including illiterate, disabled and other individuals. In addition, pictograms of transportation, computers, medicine, tickets, etc. Usage areas such as form a part of our daily life. It has the feature of being easy and understandable in the display of an entity in the real world with iconic abbreviated aspects and reading the text. In this context, Coronavirus, a new research subject, was first seen in Wuhan, China, and it was seen that it was a global epidemic that was contagious through contact and threatening human health. In a short time, we see that the governments of the countries all over the world use various communication tools to explain the importance of the protection of personal health to the public, prevent the rapid spread of false information and help with how to ensure access to correct information in relation to the epidemic, which is described as the new pandemic. In this study, it was aimed to examine the visual content of the pictograms (which is also an important element of the study) on the posters prepared to protect individuals from the Coronavirus (Covid-19) virus and to communicate effectively and increase awareness of the people about the symptoms of the disease.
