After the Turks accepted Islam, their struggling to spread Islam and realize the ideal of conquest have enabled species such as Cenknâme to become widespread.The text we are examining is a Hz.Ali Cenknâmes.Hz.Ali's wars and his heroism in wars are among the subjects that are highly sought after not only by writers but also by readers in Turkish literature.Hz.Ali is both Prophet Mohammad's cousin and his son-in-law, he has had great contributions to Islam and he has experienced aggrievement.All these are among the main reasons of this popularity.Three transcripts of this cenkname have been attained, a critical text has been formed through these transcripts and has been analysed.In the analysis, first the transcripts have been introduced and then its form, content and linguistic features have been touched.As a result of this analysis, it has been determined that this cenkname has similarities with other cenknames.The critical text formed through these transcripts is 241 couplets and its poet is unknown.
