Türkiye’de Buz Hokeyi Sporcularının Eğitim Düzeylerine Göre Spora Katılım Güdülerinin İncelenmesi

In this research, it is aimed investigate the sports motives of players who are interested in ice-hockey according to their educational levels in Turkey. The research sample consists of 540 sporters who are actively interested in ice-hockey. 127 of participants are women, while 413 of them are men, and all of the participants are in between 11 and 25 ages. During the research, the participants were provided with personal information form and a questionnaire about motive for participating in sport. In analyzing the data obtained from questionnaires, which were applied to ice-hockey players, SPSS 20.0 program was utilized. Arithmetic mean of each answer given to each question in the questionnaire was calculated seperately, and Kruskal Wallis H analysis test was used while analysing the data. As the result of the study, it was revealed that the most significant factors in sport participating motive of ice-hockey players according to their educational levels are “Success/Statue, Physical Fitness/Energy Consuming, Team Membership/Spirit, Competing, Moving/Being Active.”
