Özet
Antiproliferative effect of the neurohypophyseal peptide oxytocin (OT) in breast cancer cells was previously described in the literature.1,2 It was reported that maternal and umbilical plasma OT levels during spontaneous delivery were significantly higher than those at elective cesarean section (c-section).3,4 The aim of this study was to investigate clinical and pathological characteristics of breast cancer patients with a history of cesarean delivery and the role of c-section on breast cancer prognosis.
