SPACELIKE OR TIMELIKE (NON-NULL) OSCULATING CURVES OF TYPE (N-3) IN LORENTZIAN N-SPACE

. In this paper, we study non-null osculating curves of type (n-3) in Lorentzian n-space E1n. We obtain necessary and sufficient conditions for non-null curves to be osculating curves of type (n-3) in E1n. We analyze these curves in terms of their curvature functions and derive the necessary relations between the curvatures for a curve to be congruent to an osculating curve of type (n-3) in E1n. Moreover, we re-characterize non-null osculating curves of type (n-3) using harmonic curvature functions in terms of Bn-2.
